This is to inform the Burning WoW Community that there’s gonna be a very important announcement to be made either today (December 7, 2008) or tomorrow (December 8, 2008) anytime possible. This is with regards to the server status and what lies ahead of us. Considering this will be of great interest to the whole population, it is deemed advisable to stay tuned and keep updated with the upcoming posts from here on.
Together, lets tighten up our belts a little more and await for further confirmations from the admins. The rise of the Burning WoW Community and the answer to all our confusions lie in their hands.
We are one in this astonishing turn over of events and the one thing that remains in all of us is Hope. Lets make the most out of it.

BWOW is the first home i got, really, i’d prefer BWOW over retail. Okay, there are bugs and such, no one can deny that, but the community which makes it leet helps me ignore them.

What kind of announcement is it actually? Is it from Blizzard?
I try lots off servers in last two days and i find 3 only litle interesting but they are boring me now! BWOW is best server of all… i cant find any server where i can lvl Characters from 1 to 70 lvl… allmost all servers are instant 70 or is u kill one mob and jump from 1 lvl to 5 lvl that is boring there isnt fun:((( I wait BWOW announcement and i hope taht this all be one bad dream:))

Viva Burning WoW!
Burning-wow was my first home as a private server, and I’ve made quite a few friends in the community. Though I moved onto another server eventually, this community is still the best one out there. I will be right back here as soon as the servers come back up, and I will support Burning-WoW through any of the challenges that may lie in it’s path, from here on out.
This community is a strong one and I belive that it will not go down without a fight. There are lots of legal loopholes out there.
RAISE YOUR SHIELDS HIGH!

Blame Vivendi Games for all this mess. Vivendi owns Activision, and Activision owns Blizzard.
Blizzard is just the poor developers who initially intended WoW to be free anyhow, but the conglomerate Vivendi games bought Activision and had the final say to charge people $15 per month to access their servers and still make you go to a retail store and buy the expansions at $40 each.
It’s a nasty cruel world we live in. Thank God it’s easy to escape the tortures of real life and hop into the World of Warcraft. …wait…

I rly admire everything everyone’s doing to fight back. I rly hope this isn’t the end, but I don’t have anything to say, I’m juz getting prepared for the worst.

The admins and the rest of the staff are using this as another means of communication just like the forums, the only difference is that for every topic posted here, it has a more detailed view.

Ever since Bwow is down, I’ve played in several other servers. None, none of the other higher rank servers can even get close to Bwow! I’m glad this is my first wow server, and I hope it will last forever. I’ll wait patiently and keep hoping for the rebirth of Bwow.

Everyone, it hardens my heart to say but i think this is the end of Bwow as we today know it. But don’t even think for a second that I have given up. I think that this is only one more thing that our vast community has to get through. As said on multiple occasions “From the ashes we rise” Burning WoW will be bigger and stronger that ever before

I, like many of you, made BWoW my first home for a private server. I have spent many hours here and have truly enjoyed the experience. It’s easy to see what a strong community we have here and this fact alone is our closest ally.
I have faith in the BWoW team, I have faith in the community and whatever path BWoW takes from here I am prepared to follow it to it’s end, and I know that the vast majority of the community will follow too.

Blizz (viv, activision, whoever) have had all they’re getting out of me. I’ve spent a large amount of money on wow in the past, more than enough to justify playing their flawed, grindfest of a game for the rest of my life in a way that DOESNT COST THEM ANYTHING.
And it goes both ways. People who start out on PS often end up going retail. These aren’t evil crimelords causing the downfall of their heaving cash-cow, these are just people trying to enjoy themselves without being hassled by multi-million dollar corporatoins.

News & Announcements, have been made, Jriske and Daenks are hosting a new server named Pheonix WoW, First server will be named Wintergrasp, similar to a high rate server such as Netherstorm. Unfortunately, no save data will be rebooted.
